I bought some '71 bucket seats to replace the bench in my 1969, and I want to put in the correct headrest releases for 1969. The '69 releases are different than the ones for '70-'72. Any problems with this? Are the notches on the headrest rods the same across years? Thanks...

I know Ground Up sells a separate set for a 69. I don't know what the difference is but if you called them they could probably tell you.

I'm sorry. I didn't realize till after I posted that you are looking for releases. I was thinking you were looking for the entire headrest. But I bet they couls still tell you the difference anyway.
