Hello everyone. I've been reading the forums for about 7 months to do the research on building my 70 ss. Great information thru out the forums from everyone. I'm learning as I go. I purchased the car restored last Oct. and have since took out the motor and sent it up to Ohio to have it blue printed balanced and gone thru and ended up with a estimated 650 - 675 hp on pump gas so I'm told. The rest of the car is currently in WV having a complete frame off restoration by someone I know. I'll be flying up in the morning to check out the progress to make sure the car will be back at home in La by the end of May. I'm glad I'm having the car gone thru since the 454 had a bad crank and other things were found that were not done correct along with covered up rust spots under the under coating & etc. The motor will be a 489 stroker, hotchkis suspension kit except springs, global west control arms, complete polyurethane bushing kit, edelbrock ias shocks, centerline rims, 9" ford with moser 35 spline axils, detroit locker, complete march performance big block kit, baer serious street brakes, having ac installed and numerous other items being done. Car will be streetable. Can hardly wait!!
