I see Goodmark and Dynacorn have full floor pans under back seat included. My questions are which companies products do you recomend and how do these pans fit around my rocker panels ( under or over) My rockers seem to be in good shape so I did not want to disturb them if at all possible.
Thanks Tony

I just had the full floor pans, three cross braces, two under rear seat pans, and a 7 pc trunk pan kit installed on my '72 convert.
Used all Goodmark items (local)...fit was good with no issues.

Just completed installing Goodmark full floors (no rear seat), 3 pc trunk, rear tail panel & rear window to trunk filler in my 66 SS - all a good fit.

To answer your question the pan fits between the outer rocker the inner rocker.

Since I sell Goodmark, I guess I'd have to recommend it. But in all honesty they are both going to be very comparable in quality. With DII being just a little lesser then Goodmarks!;)

Thanks 66, is it going to be possible for me to slip a full pan w/braces in under the outer rocker panel w/o removing the rocker panel if not can I set the full pan over the rocker ?

Thanks Tony

Take a look at my wep page, it has some good shots of the rocker lip seperated for installation. Look under floor repair. I linked a couple of pic's, look at the floor repair site anyway, got some good pic's of what You'll be doing.

I don't think you could(i may be wrong, anything is possible). The inner rocker is about 4" more or less and has a 90 degree bend on top that is about 1". This 1" lip sits on top (just barely) of the floor braces where the braces make there 90 degree turn on the ends. This inner rocker is also welded to the top of the braces and also on the 4" sections(i think at about 4 spot weld per end per brace). And then the inner rocker is welded to the outer rocker at the bottom. I have a 66 Sedan, with the body still on the frame I ended up doing some bracing and cutting the outer rocker, inner rocker, floor pans and the first and second braces out. I then put in the body mount floor brace and the second brace, put on my inner rockers, fitted up my floor pans. I am now to the point of doing some welding. Since I am also installing new quarters I cut some square holes close to the quarter door jam to gain access to some hidden spot welds. Take alot of pictures and measure, measure, measure....

I'm just getting started on a 66...This info is really great.
I'll be taking pictures of the whole process too, and asking a million questions probably.
I have the body stripped now and ready to lift off the frame. I had planned on doing the frame first, then having the body blasted and set it back on before fixing the floors?
Does anyone have pics of replacing the full floor on a 66 ?
