I just got my exhaust manifolds today.(from GU) There is a huge lump cast on the roof of each port,probably for AIR tubes. Is it worth it to remove these with a carbide burr to help the flow?

I wouldn't worry about the lumps. You could spend a bunch of time and energy on this project with no measurable result.
