When doing a frame off, would you paint the bottom of the body the same as the exterior, silver or black? The frame will be painted semi-gloss black. I've seen silver.

Usually it's painted with a Semi-Gloss black. But it is all personal preference, if you want to do a "more correct" paint job, go with a Semi-Gloss black.

My self personally, I am going to go with body color...

Black, but not real shiny, just a shade or two different then the frame.

I would go withy body color, it sure makes it look nicer, and clean.

Perhaps but it will sure show dirt, chips, grease, oil etc. in a hurry. Only reason I plan to go black is because I can touch it up real easy, wont show as much grit and grime, etc. But I have OCD with paint on my cars and I know I would be forced because of it, to be out there on my back all the time cleaning the underside and it would become part of my washing habits.

But I plan to drive mine whenever I can and it wont see a trailer. Road duty would eventually put a hurting on the underside paint. And I dont want to have to keep a stock of the color I am going with and mix, fill in, etc. I'll just rattle can if an when it comes to fixing chips or freshening up and area that I dinged or scraped during suspension work, for example.

Guess it depends on if you're going for concourse correct or not. But I'm with Beaux, I'd go for something that's easy to touch up. When it's time to do mine, I'll probably use something like Bodyshutz to keep it from chipping. Too many gravel roads around here. Keeps the noise down a bit too.
