Need a little help. My front body to frame bracket on the drivers side (left fender area at the front of the car) is completely rusted through. Both bracket and bushing needs to be replaced. I can't seem to find anyone that carries the bracket. Found that OPG carries some washer rings that you weld in place but that's all. Any help on how to replace the bracket? Also, I'm trying to figure out which bushing kits to order. Is there a specific name for this bushing or are all the body to frame bushings on the car identical? I'll probably replace both fronts if I can find the parts.

if you are talking about the body mounts.....your best bet is to find a donor car.

if you are talking about on the frame itself, i took huge washers, like 3/16" thick and slapped them in a lathe and turned the insides out to whatever size it was, then ground the zinc plating off and had a certified welder weld them in place (just in case...cant blame me he was relative and wanted to help) they turned out great. of course that was before i found that opg was selling those fixes. get her fixed and back on the road! good luck! http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif
