Is it hard/not advisable to convert a standard domed hood for a '71 SS to a flapper-door cowl induction? The hood is already painted and I was wondering if it would be easy for a paint shop to cut out and stuff, or should I just get a new hood?
Also, the domed hood can't let air bounce off the windshield and into the engine compartment for a little cool air, but would it also be somewhat easy to cut out a little channel on the inside of the hood? Might look tacky but I think it would work for a little cool air..
