Did the 69 ss have hood & trunk stripe options?

I think that the 69 SS stripes were two per side that ran down the sides of the body from fender to quarter. The only 69's I've seen that originally came with hood/trunk stripes were the Super Yenko Chevelles.

sxtysix is right.
69 Chevelles did not have hood and trunk stripes. They did have the side stripe he was talking about.
That was the SS stripes for that year.

You won't get a straight answer on this one-

The common concensus is that there were no hood/deck stripes in 69 (not counting the yenko ones)

BUT- MANY, MANY people claim that some 69's did come with hood/deck stripes- maybe not from the facotry, but possibly dealer added. Most likely in early 70- when the new models came out, dealers might have added stripes to some remaining '69s- to help them sell sitting next to the new 70's...

Personally- i think '68 & '69's are ideal for hood stripes because of the dual bulges on the SS hood- they look killer with the stripes.
