To anyone installing a headliner: I did a seach on TC and found a few people that used small paper clamps from a office supply store to secure the headliner before it is glued. It is the best $4.00 I have ever spent. I used about 50 med size clamps from Staples to hold and adjust my headliner before I glued it. ade the job so much easier and better looking.

you got away with 50? I think I used about 150 of the small sized ones! Hope I wont be doing that again soon!

Would clothes pins work?

Medium sized binder clips seem to work best - they're the right size and grab a bit more material than a clothes pin. I think I used nearly 100 of them when I did the headliner in a 66 Nova, but I used them pretty close to one another... I'll be doing the 66 Chevelle headliner the same way.
