I'm doind a 69 chevelle frame off and i'm in the process of paintint the frame and suspension. What gets paint with semigloss black and what gets the flat black.(etc control arm,centerlink, steering gear,springs,rear axle housing, and rear axle)

Check in the Resto Shop button on the chevelles home page then go to part 5 it may have what you are looking for.

To my knowledge, nothing is flat black. There are varying degress of gloss, but nothi g flat.

The frame and control arms can be semi gloss, and the rear end can be as well. The springs can be gloss black, semi gloss black or a natural steel finish ( Eastwood Detail Gray would work well here. ). Your centrelink is natural, although semi gloss black is acceptable but natural offers better detail contrast. Spindles and tie rods should be natural as well.
