Good afternoon. My husband has spent the last 2 1/2 years trying to complete our 67 SS convertible. The paint shop kept it for over 1 1/2 years and charged us 5x what the original price was to be. We finally went into debt in order to get the car back from being held hostage. Now that he has most everything done, the guy who was helping with the "motor work" has stopped helping. He can go no further without help putting in the heat/air. We have all our interior ready to go in, but can't do it. Is there anyone out there who knows someone I can get to help him finish this car. We have made our reservations for Oakwood, GA and Chevellabration, but think now we won't be able to go. Please, is there ayone who can offer me some assistance. It would be greatly aprpeciated.

We are located in Lavonia, GA. just off I-85 and about 2 miles before the SC state line.

Thanks to all you guys for responding to my cry for help. I just feel so bad for him because this is his dream car (of course I like it too), but he was taken for a ride with the people who did the paint and body work. I just want to see him enjoy this car. We only had it 3 months before doing the off frame restore . . . now it's over 2 years later and he can't finish it.

Thanks again.
