Please could some one help me with the placement of my ss badges on my fenders of my 70 Chevelle. I have a cad drawing that places all of the holes in the fenders perfectly to factory dimensions, but it does not include the dimensions in respect to the fender itself. The assembly manual really does not tell you what this dimension is either. If someone could, please measure the distance from the top of both SS's to the body line, and from the door jamb to the first S on the fender. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Please give me dimension on a fender you know has the stock, original factory holes.

I have a template for this made from an original 70 SS passenger side fender. Send me your address and I'll send one. (I may be able to scan it???)

I put ss 396 badges on my 69, make shure the sides are the same.
I drilled the left side first and it came out great, so I figure I would just mirror the right side WRONG!!!!
I had to remeasure all the pin placements for the right side.
So before you drill at least hold the badges upto your drill marks just to be shure.
