Don't feel bad...my wife thougt I was a moron through the entire build....until she got to go for a ride and people started giving us the thumbs up!...seems like a grand for what you got isn't too bad....if they are indeed 1700 to buy retail?...have fun....

I wish I had the ability to to a full resto.. but in the meantime I'm just doing what I can....

The wheels alone, factory direct from CenterlineWheels.com go for almost 1600. That doesn't include the 500+ in new rubber, and valve stems, mounting, balancing.... etc...

Thanks...

If you like them and will enjoy them, it's a good deal. That's the only way I would look at it. ;)

What's shipping, ~$50 per wheel?
That's usually the killer on eBay for big stuff.

And not to mention the fact the guy has ZERO feedback.

True.. but all sellers at one time had a zero feedback.

Shipping...... seller has agreed that if shipping goes over $100.00 he will cover the difference.

Sounds pretty reasonable to me. Its not easy to get a set of good quality aftermarket wheels and tires for 1K these days. At least in that size.

He mentions something about a project he canned. I smell a deal for someone. Might be worth asking him what he has (or had).

I'd get a work phone number from him and contact him at work. I feel you're less likely to get screwed if you can mess with his livelyhood. My understanding is that postal money orders have stronger penaltites aginst fraud than regular payment methods. I'd pay with postal money orders. The wheels look nice. Best of luck with your purchase. Let us know how it works out!

My wife thinks I am a moron And what wife doesnt think that about her husband :p

If you like the tires and wheels Its a Great Deal ..

I sold a set of mounted tires and wheels/all lug nuts on Ebay and shipped them to Idaho from Jawga for $100.

I did happen to get both His HomePhone, and Cell Phone numbers........I have talked to him. The car had a chevy bolt pattern, I wonder what else he has in his garage to sell.
