My son and myself are currently in the process of restoring a 66 convertible the upper dash panel is gone!! and I am looking for someone who might have an old donor car with a good one, on my hardtop the piece between the glass and cowl was gon and I bought a reproduction piece that worked fine but what I need is the upper part of the dash, if anyone has a goodun let me know my phone # is 731-989-7093 thanks for the help,Joey Harris

I had some rust that extended from the dash,under the windshield and into the panel just infront of the windshield, I used a patch panel kit that consisted if two pieces.
How much of the dash is effected? The kit I used replaced from the windshield to the first slot on the defroster vents. If this will help OPG part # x4542b

Have the patch panel described. Didn't use it as I secured complete upper dash panel. I would give it away for shipping charges.. Has sat around for 6+ years slight surface rust. Also have complete cowl & roof from 66 elky. Looks usable but we never can tell until we split dash from lower windshield to grille filler. If you can find upper dash it will save a lot of very difficult welding and finishing. Upper dash is spot welded to lower windshield filler, it fits underneath filler and is attached at glass mounting surface. Two or three spot welds at each lower corner at kick panel. Check and recheck all glass opening fits including: w/s pillar caps, cowl vent grille to lower windshield lower filler, fenders to caps and vent grille, and windshield mouldings. Good luck! Karl

How wide are those 2 replacement panels from OPG? I also have the same type of rust problem under the windshield and a touch on the dash, and one small hole in between the windshield and cowl panel.

Kevin, dash panel patch part is about 2" wide, runs length of upper dash. As stated previously, I have dash piece, and complete cowl, roof section for 66 Elky. 66 upper dashes are all the same. Replacement lower windshield filler to cowl grille is a very good match for original part. My 66 Elky is still scattered all over shop, completely gutted, undergoing all trial fits, prior to paint.
