Size will depend on what you want, what wheels you have, and how the car sits...

I fir 265/50/15 and 295/50/15 on my '66 Chevelle with no cutting/no rolling of the outer wheel lips... Thats about the maximum without "massaging" the wheel wells... These tires (especially the front) are a little short, and taller tires might have more clearance issues when turning, etc...
