Hey folks..

I've got a 70 chevelle that was restored about 6 years ago. The paint job was excellent, but over the years it has developed a chip in the hood, and two down to the metal scratches.
I'm going to call the guy who painted it and see what he says, but what are the options for this sort of thing? Is it usually expensive?

Thanks for the help..
Matt

If you know the guy who painted see if he has any paint left if he does it will be a perfect match, if not take it to a paint supply and they can match the paint. There is no real good way to fix the scratch without painting the whole panel. However I would recommend a small paint brush and try to fill the scratches. This may take several coats. Once the scratch is full you could use some 2000 grit paper paper and smooth the paint and them buff it. I had some good luck doing this you can barely see where the scratch was. Good luck
