Does anybody know on a Canadian 65 SS Convertible, did the trunk lid have a SS emblem?

Also, did the seats have bowtie inserts in the seatbacks?

Not to many Canadian Chevelles out there to use for reference. You may be on your own. There is a Canadian Classic Chevelles and Beaumonts club and website, If i recall.

Kraftworkz, I missed this post before. In answer to your question, yes, the 'Malibu SS' emblem on the trunk was used on the Canadian '65 Malibu SS. Also the interior was the same, although I'm not sure if all the same colour choices were offered in Canada. In general terms there were sometimes fewer colour choices on Candian-built cars. I'll have to see if I can verify the interior choices. I only have the full line brochure and it doesn't go into specifics. The equivalent Beaumont Sport Deluxe offered 6 interior colours; red, blue, saddle, black, ivory and medium slate. The Sport Deluxe used a Lemans / GTO interior minus the Pontiac arrowhead emblems, plus they used a Malibu SS console & steering wheel.

Thank you. I guess I have to look for where the holes where on the trunk lid. The car in question is here (http://www.orchidgreenhouse.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=5)
