Hello all,
I need to replace the forward part of the trans hump (and about 4" of the firewall ramp up) on my 67 ss. This area was bent and "patched" by a previous owner who was rather unskilled. In any case, a fellow T/S member emailed me in response to my parts request. He's parting out a 66' 4 door and would like to know if I'd be interested in the section(s) mentioned above. My manuals don't specifically say that the 4 door and 2 door trans humps are the same. His is a solid hump (column shift) mine is a cut up 4 speed (it was a factory 4 speed).
Are any of you aware as to whether or not a 66' 4 door trans hump and firewall rise will fit a 67 2 dr SS? I don't want him to cut it if he doesn't have to.
