I know this sounds cheesey but I am in the process of painting the entire underside of my '72. We're talking about a solid driver, not a show car here. I have been getting great results on the frame with a foam brush. The only blemishes have been where I have gone back to touch up a spot more than 3 minutes after I first applied it. I have been getting dull spots in those locations.
Today it occurred to me that I might be able to get good results with a foam roller (hot dog style)for smooth applications on areas such as the floors and underside of the trunk.
Will this work or will it smear and waste a lot of paint?
