I am rebuilding a 70 Chevelle and am wondering where I can get a full interior kit, including door panels, headliner, seat upholstery(front and rear) and quarter wings and maybe carpet. I have a 69 Firebird that I bought a complete kit for but I am unable to find kits for the Chevelle. Super Chevy will be coming to me in Memphis in April and I am not sure if I should wait until then to purchase these items. HELP

I've heard that most of the repros are made by the same manufacturer, is that true? Also, some of the repros I see don't have the metal or plastic piece that goes on the seat backs.

If you were doing a concourse restoration, who's interior parts would you buy?

I got my parchment seat backs and covers for my 69 Chevelle from

North East Chevelle 570-455-3095

The trim piece (chrome) on the seat backs was already installed when I recieved them.

Got my set from Ground Up, all there, chrome strips as well. Looks great - can see it on my page in the red convertible.

I've seen some good ones and some not so good ones over the years. I've looked at the ones made by PUI and sold by a number of vendors and think they're what I'll be using in my cars. Quite a few of the people that I've asked who's interior stuff they sell have answered PUI (Parts Unlimited Inc) If anybody makes repro metal seat backs I'm unaware of it.

I got most of my stuff from OPG,but there are a ton of companys out there selling the same stuff. Most of it made by PUI.If you are replacing your door panels ,you should get the pre-assembled ones with the top rails or DO NOT throw your old ones away.No one makes repro top rails for the door panels.Trust me I just went thru this. There is a big difference in price, but if you have to start from scratch and buy window felts and can find used top rails you'll have more money in it than if you buy the pre-assembled ones.
