Be careful with the white lithium grease. I was doing the doors on my vette and sprayed it on the tracks, then I jumped out the power window motor to go up and down with it, got a spark and before I knew the inside of my door was on fire.

Their is a better grease to use its like a paste form grease and works great. I will find out what it is this weekend better than the lithium grease.

What you need is multi purpose lithium grease, I couldn't find it in tub form so i used grease gun cartridges and cut the end open. Any auto parts store should have it.

Lubrimatic makes a white lithium grease in a squeeze out tube. I'm not sure where it is sold, i always buy it from Equalizer. They are an auto glass store. It's only 6 bucks a tube and the stuff is great! The part number is WLG252 on their website.

Use laquer thinner to clean the old gum (lube) out of the tracks, then white lube.
