Im missing the rear bracket for my ps pump. I've installed header on my 383 long wp non ac car (70) If I buy the stock bracket, will it still work with headers. I heard somewhere that the bracket was designed to work with stock manifold only.

Should work O.K. with headers but you may have to "shim" it up to take up the thickness of the stock exhaust manifold.

I found an aftermarket bracket made by a guy near buy. cost more than i wanted to spend, but it looks good and a way to help out a fellow car enthusiast.

When I installed headers I made a spacer out of a short piece of pipe and used the original bolt to use the rear mount bracket.
