I have looked through the assembly manual for my 66 Malibu. There is no information on the window tracks and how to install and adjust them.

I assume the windows were installed by Fisher before the body was sent to the factory.

Is there another source for manuals for assembly done by Fisher?

The other source is the Fisher Body Manual for the 1966 Chevrolet line...a manual unto itself...Shawn

Yes, as Shawn has said, you need the BODY BY FISHER Manual...it's a navy blue colored manual...see them all the time on E=bay and at Swap meets...about $16.00 used. It will have exactly what you are looking for.

Good luck
Mike

Larry. You might consider buying a CD from Detroit Irion through the Team Chevelle store for $ 39. Contains both Fisher Body Manual as well.
For my own reference I have made a picture of the old bolt positions before disassembly http://www.si.hhs.nl/~rob/images/html_album/page_01.htm This might give you some idea.

Thanks guys.

I am going to Super Chevy tomorrow so may be they have one there.

I did take pictures as I disassembled and I re-assembled the windows before storing them.

I think the tuff part is going to be putting them back in the right order. I am sure there is only one sequence out of a possible 100 or more.

Then after installation it looks tricky to adjust the windows so they work correctly. There are so many adjustment screws.

Rust66 great pictures I book marked your site and I will go back and have a close look.

I am building a wbe site as I go as well.
