i bought a 67 convvertible it has a blue top on it that needs to be replaced the under side of the top and the frame is also blue. my ? is if i put a saddle top on the car will the under side of the top be saddle or black. going to paint the top frame soon .and would like for it to match the under side of the top. looked at a lot of convertibles but they all have black or white tops. leonard (moonshiner)

I was able to order my white top (65) with a Tan underside...so you should? also be able to get/order a Tan over Tan top. Go to legit top shop and talk to them. Also, my top frame came from the factory with Tan frame...Sandlewood Tan I am thinking- was very close to the original color of the frame. I have not seen very many Tan frames, but I have seen a few mostly on the earlier Chevelles.

Your choice depends on how you order the underside can be black or tan.

I painted my 1964 frame and dash to match the saddle leather color. They made a mistake and started to install a black underside it made the tan frame really stand out against the black but I went with tan inside and out. It was OER Jaguar fabric and color..
