Can anyone tell me if a power bucket seat base from a 1971 442 Will fit in a 65 chevelle? Are the bases from 64, 65 chevelles different than 66 thru 70's? Will the later power seat bases fit and function with only cosmetic differences such as the appearance of the switch? Any advice is appreciated since these demand so much money. Thank You.

It will fit but it won't bolt in without a special bracket that they sell for that conversion.
