Ok I am wanting to get a 4" Glass hood either Glasstech or Hardwood. But I haven't decided if I should get a pin on hood or bolt on. Can anyone tell me the up and downs with running either? Trying to see it from all aspects. thanks

I wouldn't want a pin on, just because if I ever had to try and get the hood off by meself I would be afraid of messing it, or something else up. When I get my glass hood, I will spend the extra money for a bolt on.

you'll know of a place where I can find the best possible deal? because the $450 + $75 truck freight is a heavy blow to my wallet.
Or possibly finding someone that has a hood that I want but used. any thoughts good or bad of that? thanks

Well the pin on will probably be cheaper
I use a 4 inch harwood pin on and really like it
They can be a pain is the butt, but I really like being able to take it off to work on the motor.
I have no problem getting mine on and off by myself, I just throw a blanket on the roof and set it on there. but you do have to be really carefull
