I am frame-off restoring a 67 SS and I am in the procces of taking the body off. I got all the body bolts out (one broke  ) and my brake lines are off, now it is time to get the body off the frame. Any ideas on how to do it?
thanks alot graemlins/beers.gif

Wes,
I built a simple wooden frame out of 4 X 6's attached to my garage wall and did the lifting with a 1 1/2 ton come-a-long.
I also made a wooden cradle (http://home.flash.net/~tomgr/pic/Chevelle/During/Scraping.jpg), complete with casters, that I bolted to the body. This allowed me to tip it on it's side to scrape and sandblast the underside.

Thanks alot guys,
hopefully the body will be off today and get sandblasted. Do you sandblast, primer, then paint it? Is the paint semi gloss black?
thanks
