Hi guys, Well I spoke to Dan at Goodmark on Thursday. He let me know that the full quarters were NOT going to be released any time soon.
They seem to be having problems with their stamping dies . Sorry to be the one to bring the bad news. But if you been following the progress of these you know this isn't the first delay. graemlins/sad.gif . Well all you guys holding on to your NOS quarters I guess the price just went up a few more dollars ;)

DII has full rear quarters for the 69 Chevelle. They have been marketing them since the end of Aug. 04. They fit as well as any NOS full rear I've installed.
I don't understand why your waiting on Goodmark. If they keep up with their "release dates" like they have for the last 2 years, they will never sell the 69 full rear.

DII is Dynacorn. They are the largest manufacture of sheetmetal for 60's muscle cars. They just don't advertise like Goodmark (Advertising= increased consumer prices) Goodmark buys a number of "their" sheetmetal products from Dynacorn.

Well thanks for the advice Trooper, How is the thickness of the metal though ? I also heard about Sherman products. Any thoughts on them? Thanks, Don

I can't remember if the original was 20 or 22 gauge. But the replacement was about 1/2 a gauge thinner(about .0015). Does that make sense. If the original was 20, replacement was just thicker than 21. If it was 22 then the replacement was a little thicker than 23. All I can say is that the replacement fit fine at the sail panel. You couldn't tell the minute thickness difference. On the full quarter there is no other place that demands a butt weld.
Never heard of Sherman. Are you sure they're stamping steel or just distributing it?
