OK, dumb question(s)...

What pieces make up the front end and back end body work?

I got some bad driver and passenger fenders. But it doesn't look like it is as easy as bolting one off then bolting one on. There are the wheelwells to contend with. For the front, are these bolted on or welded on?

Also, let's say you purchase a goodmark replacement fender. So you get just the fender from them right? So it's up to you so severe the fender from the original inner, bolt on the new inner, then re-weld them together?

I'm just not clear on what pieces make up the front and rear body pieces.

Any insight appreciated.

Notdifficult to remove the front fenders. They simply bolt on.

In the very basic you have on the front: Inner & outer fenders on the rear: it's Inner & outer wheel houses, trunk ext & the fender. the rear is all spot welded, rolled & leaded at the top/qtr seam's. There are a number of ways they (as in rear) can be removed/replaced, some form of cutting is req to remove the unwanted/damage
part(s)then glue, rivets, screws and welding or a combo of them to attach the new. It's not easy or
(without pro assis)recomended for the avg joe but after reading & casually observing I took it on when 18 on my 68 Camaro which was relatively new but had caught a pole one foggy night at our local hang-out. Most everything on the front can be wrenched. I would encourage you to take your time and Please!!! replace the inner fenders & wheelhouses if damage or rusty. I have cussed Many an Idiot who hung qtr's over jagged and/or rusted inner parts.
