I bought my 66 convertible as a half done project. The previous owner replaced the entire trunk -I believe it was a three piece. It needs the welds to be cleaned up with a grinder which isn't so bad.

What I am confused about is where the trunk floor meets the quarter panels. Does the floor go all the way to the wall/panel or is there a gap before it meets the quarter ? -In which case the floor never meets the side of the quarter panel.

Is it possible for someone to take a pic of the inside of their trunk where the floor and quarter panel meet?

Doug, check your email.

I sent you a picture of the trunck floor with the quarter panel off.

The edge of the trunk does not touch the quarter panel.

Doug, the car is back together now.

The car is in storage but I will get a picture of the complete trunk from the inside.

Doug.. The Trunk Floor 64/67 are the same.. and the trunk NEVER touches the side 1/4 panel. it compleats it's side sealing,with the TRUNK FILLER panel that is welded from the outer edge to the bottom edge of the 1/4 panel..
