For a 69SS

I have a great painter but he can not do the prep work (can’t slide it by his boss)

All the metal work is done. Both qtrs, some patching, no major dents, I just need the welds filled,blocked, etc.

The car is completely stripped and I can chem strip the paint.

Any help would be great.


I am in NOVA and can tow the car.

Hey, im from Bethesda and I work on my car in Manassas. The man im working with (mentor, in a way hes showing me how to do all the stuff since hes been doin it all his life) definatly knows body guys. I am workin with him sometime this week, and the next time i do, i will definatly let you know some suggestions he has. Good luck.

You can also try Dave Furlough at Shady Grove Auto in Gaithersburg, MD. He's the owner and very good at body work as well as mechanical. He's done some good work on my Mustang and currently doing body work on a Kaiser Manhattan and a '69 GTO Judge.

I need some bondo work (weld seams mostly), skin coating, blocking and paint color change.
