I would like to add 3/32" or 1/8" wheel spacers to the rear of my 66 as my tires rub a tiny amount when cornering. I would also consider adding longer studs to the axles and then could put wider spacers on, but am having no luck finding studs that are only about 1/4" or 1/2" longer than the 1 1/4" x 7/16 Mosers I am currently using. Can anyone direct me to a supplier for either option?

Maybe you could buy the longer ones and cut them down? Just a thought

I thought of that, but I want to make sure that I don't have studs where nuts do not want to start really well. Sometimes when you cut a bolt off and clean up the end the nut has a tendency to be a bit tricky to start and is easy to cross thread. Hoping to find a better way.

Cutting them should be no problem, use a file to straighten the edge if need be. Before you cut them run a lug nut on them and after the cut back the nut off over the fresh cut, it will help align the threads. Don`t even think about drag racing with those spacers if you have alot of power and sticky tires.
