: Where to get 350 emblem for my '72 fender
4-door Chevelle Jul 5th, 04, 10:04 AM I need the 350 emblem for the drivers side fender, chrome border and what looks like pearl white inside. I have checked a few places so far and nothing yet. I thought this would be fairly easy and inexpensive?!?! I think Year One had a pair for like $48.00 but for that cost they should be gold dusted...
kevin d Jul 5th, 04, 11:08 AM That is about the going rate for new from the catalog companies. NPD lists them at $49.50.
Buzzbomb Jul 5th, 04, 12:12 PM Ebay. I needed one too, and picked up a used one in SUPER nice shape for $2.00 + $2.00 shipping! Just keep your eyes peeled for them. There are usually a few on there though. A nice used GM part is better than a Chinese knockoff for $50, IMHO, anyday.

4-door Chevelle Jul 5th, 04, 2:51 PM small block chevy parts are still easy to get and fairly inexpensive though ... compared to the stuff of today ...

I'm talking about body panels, repro emblems, interiors, etc. Because the mechanical parts were used on GM vehicles for years, they're still available on the open market and are still being produced.

4-door Chevelle Jul 14th, 04, 11:07 AM I got one for 10 bucks off eBay, thanks for the suggestion!!!
Buzzbomb Jul 14th, 04, 11:54 AM Sounds like a deal to me! Why buy a new PAIR for $50 when you only needed one, and you got it for way over 1/2 off on Ebay? If you havent received it yet, Im sure you will get it. Ive used Ebay for stuff like that for 5 years and have yet to get a dud seller. All that money adds up and can be put towards other things.
SSuper Dave Jul 14th, 04, 10:23 PM I bought a pair off ebay, NOS in boxes, paid $5 for one and $10 for the other. I also bought a pair of repros from a vendor at CB04 and have to say that the repros were nicer than the NOS. The shine was the same, but the repros had a nicer smoother white paint in them. My .02.
4-door Chevelle Jul 16th, 04, 10:25 AM Got it yesterday, beautiful old box with a perfect part in it including the little nuts and rubber washers!!!
