I just finished up my back seats and they look great ... no problems. Now I'm on the front buckets and they're a real pain.

I've got 1972 Monte Carlo buckets that I'm reupholstering as 1970 Chevelle buckets. Also have new PUI covers and new seat buns. For the two bottom and two back seat cover listings I made metal ones from coat hangers. I justed stripped down the old seat covers and buns from the '72 seats and I'm putting on the new '70 parts. I can't seem to hog ring the listings into position over the springs which have the burlap and the white fuzzy stuff. So here's the questions:
Is there a website anybody knows of that can show me how to do this?

Is there some special attaching points for the hog rings on the 1970 Chevelle seats that's different from the '72 Monte seats?

Are the listings supposed get hog ringed to the springs?

Thanks for any instructions.

Hey Teddy,
Heres a link to a site that goes through the details pretty good. I too recently did my seats in my 69 but I took it to a pro as I wanted a perfect look. Good luck and post some pics when you are done.
