After years of looking all over for the right car total frame off new interior and alot of elbow grease a guy just seems to be DONe with his car right? Well I worked more on the interior getting all the lights and gauges refined and even carpeted the trunk and put in a nice stereo. I tried to get the engine tuned perfect and dress up the engine compartment some. But I havent worked on my car in a month. What do you guys do when you feel like you have done everything you wanted to do? Maybe its time to buy an 871???

Drive it, show it off, enjoy it for a while, and in no time it will need more work done to it

Use it, abuse it, mis-use it and when you have done all that, start over!

I won't have to worry about that for a long time.

a car is never, ever "done".
there's always SOMETHING you see that you want to change.
could be new wheels, different valve covers and air cleaner, or even- gods forbid- neon green split wire loom under the hood accentuating that purple firewall you've always wanted..
a car is never truly "done", unless it's a 1000 point resto that you are afraid to drive, let alone modify in any way.

id start exploring some wild ideas, my old boss has a old buick with a 265 aluminum v8 in it, we were talking and hte idea of putting a gnx v6 with a turbo in there, a project like that would be a lot of fun ;)

Think outside of the box and come up with a new project..

As previously stated, drive around the block a few times and come to find out you need to have the engine rebored again, start the whole frame off process all over.:D

Buy another car and start over. :D

yep... got another one going, and one waiting in the wings...

Oh, and BTW.... by next spring it will need something done to it, or you'll have found something wrong with it that you want to change.

Cars are meant to be driven not sittin. Drive it a lot, and then pull it apart again and start over.

Drive it until something breaks - then you can begin again...
