i am thinking about using a set of body "dollies" on my 69 chevelle.can any one tell me where i can and cannot connect them to the body?i am putting on nos quarters and replacing the driver side floor.will this be a mistake to use the "dollies" in fear of misalignment, because the points of frame to body contacts will be cut in half? i dont want to set the body back on the frame and have door gaps or anything of that nature.

I wouldn't even think of changing the quarters unless the body was on the frame and the weight was resting on the axles as if the car was on the ground. This means that you could have jack stands under the lower control arms in the front and under the rear axle housing in the rear.
I have done a heck of a lot of quarter panel jobs over the years and I learned the hard way. Any time you are going to cut off a rocker, quarter, roof, etc. or just to align the doors or fenders. You must have the car with it's weight on the wheels, or simulated.
I don't care if it is a full frame car or unibody, this still holds true. Heck with my '65 Gran Sport conv. on the lift, you can't open the doors, and the convertible has a boxed frame!

MartinSr is 100% correct. I have put hundreds of quarters on in my time and you will have a nightmare on your hands if not careful.
