i priced some speed pro cast there 280 a set ..is there any cheaper pistons out there?? links? thanks

There are pages and pages of complaints caused by bargains. The radius is cut back to lower compression. That type piston should be cheaper than $35. Have you checked your local auto parts stores? Why do you need pistons to sell the motor? Just sell it as a rebuildable shortblock and let the new owner decide what pistons to put iin it. Get a reasonably priced "forged" piston because cast pistons break real easy and do a lot of damage when they do. If you only drive the vehicle and don't race it they're O.K. but won't live long if you start winding the motor very tight. | ||
