Yes i just talked to a guy that has a 66 chevelle that i had seen sitting for awhile and decided to ask if he would sell it. The car is stripped except for rearend and axles. The inside does have the dash but no instrument panel. The body is in good shape with alittle bit of body work bottom of panels. The floor has couple holes in it which you would want to change out if you would redew. over all the car is in good shape and solid. What he told me it was a 327 car with ac and power steering. could anyone tell me if $ 2000.00 a good buy? everyone seems to tell me to take it. Wow, for the condition you described, $2000 sounds high to me.

For 66 a super sport would have an 8 as the third digit in the VIN.
