Does anyone know the correct color of gray paint for the "back" of my '69 SS rims ? Wayne in Southern California von Apr 19th, 02, 6:46 AM Per a previous thread here on this subject, I used Krylon #1605 Stone Gray Gloss. It looks correct but I haven't done a side by side comparison to a known original finish (and don't plan to). This color is on the backside of the rim only and not visible when the wheels are installed. Mainly visible on the spare mounted backside up in the trunk.
