I saw in a recent reply that riskyvt paid 500 for this work, I've also seen it cost over 1000 in NJ. What would you guys say is reasonable? I am doing this in the Philadelphia PA or Trenton NJ area. Thanks, Kirk.

I had my complete '67 Elky frame, including control arms, crossmember, and all bumper brackets blasted/powdercoated for $600...my choice of colors.

Yeah Bill, That sounds more reasonable. I know that the work is somewhat expensive in this area, but the first price I heard seemed WAY out of line. I'd like to go this route because of the way powdercoat gets inside the frame. I'm going to be buried in this car I think, and I don't want to have to redo the frame between now and then. Anyone from the area have any input? Kirk

I work in Franklin Pa., western Pa....can put you in touch with a guy in Oil City who did my 72 Sundell frame that Norm shipped up from N.C. Mine was the first he did, about a year ago, and was very reasonable. E mail me at mbartman@joy.com and I'll get you a phone number if your interested....I guess the big obstacle would be shipping, unless you wanted to take a quick trip to Steeler country.

Thanks guys. Beechfront, it seems like you're the closest to home, and the price sounds reasonable for all those parts. This included blasting as well? If so, I'm interested. I'll be in touch, Kirk
