I have heard too many stories of spending several hundred dollars to paint the shop floor only to have the paint leave the garage on the bottom of your tires. What do you think is best?

arizonapolymer. GREAT STUFF doesn't pull up with hot tires. Cost was $300 for 3 gallons (maybe it was 2) for a 456 sq ft garage. Took two days let it dry for two weeks before we pulled a car on there. We did it the first day we bought our house and i looks great.

I haven't heard about a POR 15 product for floors, but what I did was get the rustoleum 2 part epoxy kit from Lowes. I had a pretty dirty garage floor. After pressure washing and removing the oil from the oil stains, it rolled on pretty easily. It took 2 days to be fully cured, and I just "work" tested it the other weekend when I spilled about a quart of tranny fluid after fixing my kickdown cable leak and the stuff didn't absorb it nor did it pull up Pretty cheap too, about 40 bucks...

Sherwin Williams has a 2 part epoxy shop paint that works great. I was able to talk them into coming off of one part 30% and the other part 40%. There is quite a bit of mark-up in this stuff, so be ready to haggle. The cool thing about their paint is that you can get it in several colors. I have had it on the floor of my shop for over 2 years now a with ZERO problems. I was able to do 900 Sq. Ft. for just a little over $300.

Try it, you won't regret it!

I needed to fix a few cracks in my floor before painting. POR putty works great. Putty has been down since last fall with no paint on it. I wanted to see if it would hold up. Salt, water, etc. No problem
