What rockers are you guys using to clear 1.550 springs on your small blocks? I called Comp and they told me the 7/16" Pro Magnums would so I bought a set and guess what? They don't clear. Harland Sharp says theirs will clear but will they? I don't want to spend $320 on Crane Golds if I don't have to. Any ideas?

Generally speaking, rocker arms for 7/16 studs are usually clearanced for valve springs up to 1.6x. I have a set of Crane Golds and they clear my valve springs with plenty of room to spare. I have also used a set of Summits Alum rocker arms on a set of Brodix alum heads with 1.55" valve springs and a roller cam. You might want to double check your push rod length/rocker arm geometry if you're still having an interferance problem.

We have always used the Crower stainless rockers or the Crower shaft system which works and you might try a set of lash caps and a longer push rod which some times helps.

I had the same problem. Harland Sharp and Scorpion will clear for sure because I brought mine back to the Engine/Speed shop where I bought the parts and we tried it there. I have Harland Sharp now. I know the Comp Pro Magnums will NOT fit. I don't know about any others like Crane and so forth. This was on Dart Iron Eagles set up with 1.550" springs and .100" longer valves.
