The thread on how much time spent on TC reminded me of a recent bug. The time stamp has been updating hit and miss lately. What, where is the trigger: at login, log-out, or the main forum page?

It's been intermittent for several weeks now. It became noticeable about the same time as the "server too busy" messages became a regular occurrence.

time stamp? do you mean the time on the bottom of the forum pages? It goes by login, as once you login then the program knows to adjust the displayed time to whatever is set in your profile. If not logged in it will show a default value.

I'm a bit surprised at the large number that never check/set this value. I'd say 75% are set to "Casablanca" time, while it sounds kinda cool, it must mess things up for them.

To set the correct time (http://www.chevelles.com/forums/profile.php?do=editoptions) zone.

Nope. The time stamp at the top of the forum that says...

Welcome, 72chevy.
You last visited: Today at 01:15 PM

It used to always tracking each visit consistently but lately it's hit and miss. Sometimes I can be on for over 30 min, read, post and it didn't register the visits time stamp. Not a big issue. I am on so much that I usually read from the New Post menu selection. So it will think I need to read 7 pages of threads in stead of the actual 2 or 3.

Any way it just started acting up in the last two weeks or so. About the same time as the Site too busy messages started.
