there are a few small cracks around a few of the bolts and I was wanting to know a good product to fill these cracks in. its not bad enough to have replace them. thanks

I'm not a body man, but if it were mine, here's what I would do. First, I would drill a small hole at the end of the crack so it doesn't go any farther. Kinda like they do a windsheild. Then I would fill it with some good old JB Weld. Just my opion. Mabe someone else will chime in. Cal

When I was wrestling with those I used clear 2 part epoxy glue, like you get at the harware store. It held well. Then painted the whole I F with semi gloss paint.

I combined both of those ideas... drilled holes to stop the cracks and used the 2 part epoxy to bond everything up. Sand smooth, paint, and you're done.

Just found same when replacing battery tray. Besides JB Weld used fender washers on both sides to reduce stress on bolt holes.

man i hate to say i did this.my was cracking bad so i broke some of the plastic off from the around the fender and use a soldering gun and welded it back together.i dosent look good but its holding.its butch but it works till i get some steel ones.just watch the smell if you do this
