Here's a video from one of my passes Friday night.

The track crew accidentally installed a red bulb in the green bulb socket. :D

Enjoy.

Thanks guys.

Jason, the best pass was off the trailer. 10.22@131.2 with a mild (4mph) tail wind. I spent the rest of the night chasing my tail with shock settings, jetting, timing, etc........ Finally ended up running another 10.22@130+ without the tail wind.

Laughing Rat- Yes,I'm still working on my suspension settings. I don't run on race day (strictly fun for me), only Friday & Sunday night T&T. The video pass was 10.27 w/1.445 60'. The previous track trip the car ran a 1.400 60' (after they drug the track a 1/2 doz cars before my pass) and a few 1.41-42's. During the 1.40 pass the front of the car stayed up much longer/further and came down more gently. Last Friday it was just falling down real hard. I've got new bias slicks to try next trip (same tire I used to run) along with the radials I'm running now.

68malss468- Yeah, but thats not my typical burnout. I forgot to toggle the fuel pump and the motor died while doing the 1st part of that burnout. I'm afraid self aggravation got the better of me once I fired it back up.

71-454- Exactly! What's that all about??? I've got to have a talk with the track crew!!!!! Heck, I just picked the wrong lane near as I can tell. :clonk:

Steve, my shift light is set at 5900 for the 1-2. By the time I react to the light and the tranny makes the shift, I'd guess the motor is up around 6800. I don't have a playback tach so I can't say for sure. The 2-3 shift is 7000. On a good pass its crossing ~7350. In the video I'm running 4.56's and MT ET Radials 315/60's. Not being nosey at all, that's what these forums are for.

In the video I'm running ... MT ET Radials 315/60's. On 15x10's, yes? What backspacing did you use and what mods to get them to fit? Did you relocate the lower shock mounts? Thanks.
Oh BTW, nice ride man!

Thanks! Yup, 15x10's w/6.5" bs. The frame is shaved (mini-tubbed). Without the mini I'm basically stuck with a 28x10 or 29x10(never tried the 29x10) on 8" wheel. The most section width I could ever comfortably get in there was ~11.5". The rear is a Moser 12bolt correct for '67 and the mounts are as they came from Moser.
