I'm installling a new dash harness, I've cleaned up my speedometer and clock/idiot light clusters and added new lens but before I reassemble I want to put in all new bulbs and the brightest I can get. Where do I get them with a list showing which bulb should be used and where?
Thanks, Les

I suggest give John a call at:
http://www.redlineg.com/
He did my cluster and it is a work of art.

The chassis service manual has a "Lamp Usage" chart on page 24 of the Specifications section. I don't know if they're the brightest ones available, but I used the #1895 bulbs that were specified in the manual & I can see my guages fine at dusk. I bought the bulbs at NAPA. You also might want to put a dab of epoxy on the metal ears that are pushed into the plastic bulb sockets so that they won't come apart if you need to take the socket out at a later date. Those suckers will come apart & then you'll probably drop the bulb down into the cluster trying to get it out. BTDT :(

BobFmTyler swears by Wagner brand bulbs. Says the ears are a little longer and hold better.
