First off i'm not looking to slam any companies, just want some opinions one some different companies.

I have a 69 Malibu that needs a hood,I want to get an SS hood and I heard Goodmark makes a nice product. Anyone ever use them? Fit,quality, price, finished product?

Any other anyone would recomend?

I don't know about Goodmark's '69 hoods, but I used one of theirs on my '66 SS.
Aside from being a bit lighter from being made from thinner gauge metal, it fits and looks good.
I would imagine that all their later SS hoods would be like this also.

Must be a slow day

I have a 71 that Ive had few panels replaced on. Ive used only Goodmark panels and the fit was very good. So far we've replaced the hood, both fenders, both quarter panels and the rear window filler panel. Everything fit very well, no hassles.

From what ive gathered about panels it seems that there are really only 2 manufactures of aftermarket panels for our chevelles. They are Goodmark and Dynacorn. There are several parts houses that will sell you panels but they dont make them. Ground up, Year one, NPD, OPG, Ausley's Sherman's and others all seem to sell either Goodmark or Dynacorn panels. Sometimes they will have both at the same time.

I dont have any experience with Dynacorn but I think you will find that my pleasant experience with Goodmark is not unusual. Call up your favorite supplier and ask if they can get you a Goodmark panel. If they cant or if they dont know, go elseware.

You can also buy direct from goomark if you are willing to pick up your panel in Atlanta.

Hope this helps.
