Found out my 70 cranberry came as autumn gold. Are there any pics on this site of the color? Not really sure of the color. Thanks.

I would hazard a guess that the car came with it from the factory. A lot of people don't like them and remove them during a repaint or resto, and IMHO, I think it would be unlikely that someone added the top. Having said that, I'm adding one to my Chevelle while it's getting painted in the next few weeks, so you know where I stand on the issue. But, back to your original reason for the post, the gold is a superb colour, and I would go back to it. Not too many around in that hue, but everyone and their brother seems to have Cranberry Red. Thanks for the info and pics. johns71chevelle Mar 8th, 06, 10:59 PM my first chevelle was a 72 with a black top repainted the original mohave gold, it was a head turner b4 the retired cple turned left in front of me and i hit em at 45mph....resto was 6 mos old, my current 71 had a white top ,replaced with black and is gold, not sure about this color for repaint but black and gold looks bad ass on these chebys!!
