What do you guys typocially do? I just received my new front end rebuild kit...tie rods, idler arm, center link..etc. Use a chassis coat/black coat or clear them so that look shiny and new?

Also, do you paint them (brush) on the car assembled, or when they are still individual piece prior to assembly?

I would paint it. I have done both and the cleared ones get rusted in time.
