Hi, I'm restoring a 69 chevelle. with the body off and on a 360 deg. turning jig I built, I wire wheeled the floor pans and the trunk inside and out. And discovered pepper holes at the drivers side feet and some in the trunk! some holes the size of a qourter. I really don't want to cut out and replace with pannels since the areas are small and the holes not large for the most part! could you suggest a method for fixing? prep.,mat.,sequence....and so forth.

Thanks, Steve

If you can sandblast the area till clean that will give a better clue. On some small patchs I thought I could patch graemlins/sad.gif to far gone. clean then reevaluate.

You can tack weld and seam seal or lap weld small patches over the larger holes if the metal is thick enough around the hole to apply the weld,
It's functional, but not "original"....depends on what your goals are. Good luck ;)
